P J McIlroy & Son

PJ McIlroy started his business career, on a spur of the moment decision in late 1959, when he moved from ownership of a family grocery business to establishing an auctioneering business selling livestock and furniture.  Some years later PJ purchased new premises on Ann Street in Ballycastle and "PJ Mcilroy & Son" was formed.  The introduction of his sons, Sean, Eamon and Leo, saw the business take on a more focused approach with Sean initially and then with Leo developing the estate agency and property rental division while Eamon concentrated on the Insurance and financial services department.  The business has evolved to the professional business model we now see today.  Although the company is still run by the three brothers, they would strongly acknowledge the loyalty, commitment and dedication of their staff and the massive contribution they have made through the years building PJ Mcilroy & Son into the successful business it is today.  Without our clients though, we would not be here today and as our father once said

 "The secret of business success is hard work, dedication to one's own business and treating every person alike."
